Getting ready to head out to Blog World Expo in Vegas today. I hope to develop some good contacts from the blogging world and learn a few new things. Hugh Hewitt will be hosting his radio show from at the convention center. I would like to get a chance to meet him. 

We will be staying a Bally’s, one of our favorites hotels. We got pretty decent prices on the airfare on Southwest since our last trip in February. Southwest made a gamble on jet fuel futures when it cost a few bucks a gallon. Their gamble is paying off by keeping their fares low and no baggage fees.

We’ll probably check out a few shows this trip. We really liked Momma Mia the last time we were there, so we are thinking about going again. 

(San Francisco, CA) Showgirls and celebrities showed up for the marriage of San Francisco and Las Vegas as the low cost airline announced the beginning of regular flights between San Francisco and Vegas.

In truly over-the-top Vegas style, Virgin America kicked off three daily flights with showgirls from La Reve, World series of Poker Champ Jamie Gold and the female passenger that was recently kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight for dressing “inappropriately.”

The head of Virgin America, Sir Richard Branson, performed an in-flight wedding aboard Virgina America’s first flight to the city that never sleeps.
