Las Vegas Weather
February 4th, 2008 . by Robb CheuvrontIf you are like me, you would like to book your Vegas trip at a time when the weather is most suited to your tastes. I have found over the years that everyone has a different view on the weather in Vegas. Some people absolutely love the hot weather of July, August and September. Others hate it! 102 is just fine with me as you can cool off in the pool and all of the Casinos are air conditioned. So much so that you actually need to wear a sweater or a sweat shirt. You do need to be prepared to dress cool when you walk around outside at night with temperatures staying in the 90’s most nights in the summer.
For others who have never been to Vegas, or visit the city that never sleeps infrequently, they may not be aware that it can be a bit cold in January. So, if you are looking to get out of the cold of the Northeast or Midwest… Vegas may not be your first choice for a winter get-a-way.
I personally do not mind the hot summer weather because I love sitting out by the pool with a cold brew and cooling off in the water fall features found in many of the Las Vegas Hotels. In the later fall season the weather is usually mild and pleasant… mid 80 temperatures with cool 60 degree evenings. My favorite season is spring with 75 to 80 degree temps until the warm up begins in full force in June.
