Producers Will Produce for the Last Time February 9th 2008.
November 26th, 2007 . by Robb CheuvrontThe Mel Brooks comedy musical The Producers will end its run at Paris in February. The show will end after two years which is a fairly decent run for a Broadway show in Vegas.
The Producers never really captured the audience they hoped for despite the giant billboard pasted on the side of Bally’s.
My wife and I did take in the show a couple of trips ago and found it entertaining, but we were disappointed that David Hasselhoff had decided not to continue with the cast a few weeks before. Hasselhoff had some pretty bad press after his daughter Video taped him in a drunken stupor in his Vegas hotel room. There were quite a few empty seats when we attended on a Saturday night.
TV star Tony Danza signed on to the production last August and will finish out the shows run.
