The Cause of the Las Vegas Monte Carlo Fire Determined
January 31st, 2008 . by Robb CheuvrontClark County fire officials have determined the cause of last week’s fire that damage the outside of hotel casino’s facade on the top floors and closed the hotel.
As early suspected, a contractor working on the building accidentally started the fire with a cutting touch. Molten medal apparently touched off the two hour blaze.
The contractors were also working without permits and may face fines and possible jail time. Sucks to be them.
There is still no word on when guests will be allowed back in and the casino will start rolling the dice and dealing the cards
